Hari Patti — how this table plays
Boot. Everyone puts the table amount in the pot and gets 3 cards face down. Play starts left of the dealer.
Stake. Starts at the boot. On your turn you may pack (fold), or bet:
After a blind bet of X — blind: X to 2X · seen: 2X to 3X.
After a seen bet of Y — seen: Y to 2Y · blind: half of Y to Y.
Pick any amount in steps of the table value.
See cards any time; from then on you bet as seen.
Side show. With three or more players in, a seen player on turn may ask the player who acted just before them (if also seen) for a side show, paying 2× stake. They may accept or decline. On accept the two compare cards privately and the weaker hand packs (tie: the asker packs). Each player can be asked once per hand.
Show. When only two remain, the player on turn may ask for a show: a blind player pays the stake, a seen player pays 2× stake. Both hands are revealed and the better hand takes the pot. On a tie, the player who asked loses.
Pack-out. If everyone else packs, the last player takes the pot without showing.
Hands, best to worst. Trail (A-A-A … 2-2-2) · Pure sequence (A-K-Q, A-2-3, K-Q-J … 4-3-2, same suit) · Sequence (same order, mixed suits) · Colour (3 of a suit; highest card decides) · Pair (higher pair, then kicker) · High card.
Money. Everyone starts at 0 and borrows from the banker. At the end the app computes the fewest direct payments between players to square everything; the receiver records each payment when it is made.
Bots. The host can add up to 4 computer players. They play on the host's phone, peek at their cards eventually, pack junk, press with good hands — and never drag a hand out: after three bets a bot must show, ask for a side show, or pack.
